Workshop Highlights

The 11th edition of the Italian Networking Workshop will be held in Cortina d'Ampezzo (BL), Italy, on January 15-17, 2014. This annual workshop aims at gathering together researchers working on telecommunication networks in Italian Universities.

The scientific scope of the workshop is very broad, including network architectures and protocols, energy efficient networking, wireless technology, mesh and sensor networks, optical networks, software defined networks, peer-to-peer networks, traffic measurements and security, performance evaluation.

The purposes of the workshop are:

  • to present the latest results about current research, to obtain feedbacks from the National research community, according to the original idea of the workshops;
  • to discuss future joint project proposals;
  • to provide a nice environment to foster the get-together process, especially to allow Ph.D. students to get together as well as to interact with Professors and Researchers from other universities.

The workshop is quite informal. Contributions are not published nor copyrighted, and participants are encouraged to submit the work presented here to the most appropriate international venues. When copyrighted by other organizations the material will be handled according to the Copyright Transfer.
